The fear!

It crawls, beneath the skin,
Loosening, lumps of flesh,
Burrowing deeper,
And deeper, And deeper,
Conquering every inch of belief,
My body becomes a battlefield,
In need of victory and,
A desire for defeat,
The last shreds of me,
Begin to feel the siege.
A part of me is left behind.
The Devastated destitute self,
Unyielding, unmoving,
That sits and broods and longs,
But fights not back to reclaim,
Submitted I stand,
Against myself.

wow
yes you've beautifully illustrated this feeling within us all...
but see a streak of hope at the end ... it is not total submission...

'Submitted I stand,
Against myself.'

i feel something comes out of this duality...
just my feeling...

Just stand, don't submit. The fear then submits and disappears..

Hi ,

I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be wow.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘oceanic mirages’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

Cheers,
